If curiosity is a motivational state involving a desire to learn, explore, or understand, then Curiosity Killed the King is its gymnasium. When mobilized en masse, curiosity leads to progress. We argue that it was curiosity that rid the world of its Kings.

The recent evolution of AI and extended reality technologies (XR/VR/AR/MR) enables this stretching of our collective imagination. Technological advancements enable us to greatly enlarge what was previously thought imaginable.

CKTK harnesses this superpower for good. We produce wondrous content experiences for thinking doers to help them consume and retain knowledge.

Our Founder, Paul Stewart

Paul is a professional catalyst driven by curiosity. A childhood magician, Paul is a chronic doer spending the majority of his time in emerging technology.

During the nineties, Paul financed internet and film production companies with RBC & National Bank of Canada in Waterloo/Toronto/Vancouver, and Imperial Bank (Comerica) in LA.

He later went on to negotiate economic development projects in BC’s coastal temperate rainforest with Ecotrust. Paul helped launch Offsetters, Canada’s largest carbon management company, helped to pioneer impact finance at Vancity Credit Union, then helped launch JAR Audio, Canada’s largest branded podcasting company before leading Sales at Cognitive3D, the world’s largest XR analytics company.

When he’s not building new digital experiences, he can be found watching the weather, on his bicycle or in the mountains and ocean surrounding Vancouver.
